P1.9i-8v-ls - rebuild
The use of too thin oil, combined with a worn oilpump, caused a major breakdown, and a conrod/crankshaft bearing failure. No further damage was done, but as you never know where the metal fragments can have caused damage before being trapped in the oilfilter, I decided to have the engine completely rebuilt - by a professional.
